About The Role
Hours: Part-time
Hours of Work: 30Hours per week, working on a rota basis
As a Yard Team Member, youโll play a key role in stock handling, customer service, and maintaining high standards across external areas. Youโll support the Stock Supervisor and wider team to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for everyone who visits the store.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard
Receiving, checking, and loading stock accurately and efficiently
Supporting Point of Sale operations when required
Maintaining external areas to a high standard of presentation
Investigating stock discrepancies and supporting seasonal stock reviews
Participating in stocktaking and maintaining stock file integrity
Following health & safety procedures and UFAS regulations
About You
Familiarity with agricultural or countryside settings (beneficial)
A forklift truck licence (advantageous)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
Good IT skills and confidence using systems
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Awareness of Data Protection / GDPR and Health & Safety standards
Youโll be friendly, self-motivated, and adaptable, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and working as part of a team.
