We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Yard Team Member to join our team in a hands-on, outdoor role supporting the day-to-day operations of our yard and store.
This is a physically demanding position where you’ll be working outside in all weather conditions and regularly lifting and moving heavy products. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the yard is safe, organised, and running efficiently, while supporting our customers with their purchases.
About The Role
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time
Hours of Work: 37.5 Hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days
As a Yard Team Member, you’ll focus on stock handling, loading, and maintaining high standards across our external areas. Working closely with the Stock Supervisor and wider team, you’ll help ensure the smooth running of yard operations and deliver a practical, helpful service to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:
Loading and unloading deliveries, including feed, fencing, and bulk products
Accurately picking, checking, and moving stock within the yard
Supporting customers with purchases, including manual loading into vehicles
Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised yard environment
Carrying out stock checks and supporting stocktaking activities
Investigating and reporting discrepancies in stock or deliveries
Operating machinery such as a forklift truck (where trained)
Following all health & safety procedures and site regulations

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Enjoys physical, hands-on work and being active throughout the day
Is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Has experience in a yard, warehouse, construction, or similar environment (preferred)
Is confident handling and moving heavy goods safely
Can work efficiently and accurately, even in a fast-paced environment
Has a positive, team-focused attitude and a strong work ethic
It would also be beneficial if you have:
A forklift truck licence
Experience working with agricultural, equine, or rural products
Enjoys physical, hands-on work and being active throughout the day
Is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
