We are looking for a practical, hands-on individual who enjoys working with machinery and being part of a small, close-knit team. As a Blending Site Operator, you will play an important role in producing high-quality feed and supporting British agriculture. About The Role

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Full time
  • Hours of Work: 47 hours per week, working Monday to Friday
  • Salary: Starting at £32,448.00 per annum

As a Blending Site Operator, you will be at the heart of our blending plant operations — from raw material intake through to loading finished products. Every day is different, and you will get hands-on experience with a range of machinery including forklifts, loading shovels and telehandlers. Working within a small team means everyone gets involved, helping to keep production running safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating mill equipment and process systems safely and efficiently
  • Running weighbridge procedures for intake, out-loading, and quality checks
  • Operating bagging and packing systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Monitoring stock of raw materials, packaging and finished product
  • Following medicated feed procedures in line with VMD requirements
  • Supporting compliance audits and reporting incidents promptly
  • Maintaining a tidy, safe workspace with a "clean as you go" approach
  • Working collaboratively to meet production and customer requirements

About You

  • Experience in farming, production, manufacturing, or any practical, hands-on role
  • Confident operating machinery, or keen to learn (training provided)
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and working safely
