Innovent is seeking a talented CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical ability in CNC programming and machining.

Responsibilities include:

  • Review drawings and specifications, determine cutting methods, tools, materials, and production sequences.
  • Generate cutting programs from CAD files supplied by engineering.
  • Optimize cycle times and setup efficiency through problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Perform machining, monitor production, and verify finished parts against drawings using calibrated tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering on design for manufacturing.
  • Stay updated on machining technology, learn new techniques, and operate new machines and software.
  • Work collaboratively with tooling, inspection, production, and assembly teams.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot machines, ensuring safe operation.
  • Inspect quality of work and ensure safety compliance, including PPE usage.
  • Maintain clean work areas and perform other duties such as assembly, maintenance, and tooling as skills permit.
  • Assist machine operators with problem-solving, adjustments, and setups.
  • Ensure CNC production performance and help organize scheduling with management.

What You’ll Bring:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • 3+ years’ experience in machining, CAM programming, and troubleshooting.
  • 1+ years’ experience with MasterCam or willingness to learn.
  • Trade school certificate or degree in CNC machining and programming preferred.
