This full-time role, based in London, is for a Talent Manager. The Talent Manager will be responsible for overseeing the professional growth and management of talent, securing opportunities across diverse entertainment platforms, and building strong industry relationships. Additional responsibilities include contract negotiation, collaboration with various media and brands, and ensuring the successful execution of talent projects and engagements. The role requires strategic planning, creative thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience in talent management, career development, and relationship building within the entertainment industry
- Skills in oral and written communication, negotiation, and collaboration with media, brands, and talent
- Understanding of digital media landscapes
- Understanding of television, radio and press preferred
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for media coordination
- Passion for supporting and guiding creative talent
- Previous experience in a similar role at a Talent Agency or within the entertainment sector is highly advantageous
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload ensuring client and business needs are met
- Ability to manage processes and campaigns from start to finish
- Must be able to work quickly and think on your feet
- An ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day public relations for all direct clients
- Manage direct clients independently and build strong relationships with media and brand partners
- Creating proposals and pitches
- Creating and executing strategy for clients
- Take the lead with clients on all media exposures, TV appearances, interviews, photo-shoots, and social media presence
- Accountable for reviewing contracts and raising invoices on behalf of clients
- Assists Directors on managing clients within the portfolio
- Reviews revenue for own talent and makes smart business decisions
- Researching and keeping an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the industry
- Leading in negotiating terms and pay for your clients
