What We’re Looking For
As a commercially minded Trade Marketing Manager at MOJU you’ll work closely with the sales and marketing teams to strengthen relationships with our retail customers and plan and execute impactful shopper activations that drive MOJU stand out both in-store and online.
Responsibilities
- In‑store and online shopper planning & activation: Provide a shopper‑insight driven trade marketing strategy, ‘picture of success’ and activation toolkit for each customer and channel.
- Customer engagement: Elevate customer engagement with MOJU as a brand and in our product benefits, USPs and marketing.
- Trade press and events: Bring the BOOM to events and trade PR to maximise awareness of MOJU with the trade.
- Trade marketing leadership: Represent the shots shopper internally and externally, and be the ‘glue’ between sales and marketing.
- Budgets: Own and lead the annual trade marketing budgeting and monthly reporting process and be responsible for ensuring plans are delivered on time and within budget.
- Best practice: Inspire the teams with best practice examples through ongoing research and network building.
- Line management and development: Day‑to‑day management, coaching and development of Trade Marketing Exec.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for trade marketing.
- Experience building and executing trade marketing strategy with top 4 UK Grocery customers.
- A blaze trials mindset – not taking ‘no’ for an answer.
- Evidence of delivering commercial success through shopper activation.
- Evidence of building strong and engaged retailer partnerships.
- Growth mindset.
- Zero ego. You’re a real team player and in it for the shared success.
- Highly commercial – understanding of retailer and shopper levers to drive performance.
- Strong collaborator and communicator – working with and bringing the energy to a wide network of stakeholders internally and externally.
- High attention to detail & analytical with good problem‑solving ability.
- Strong and engaging presentation skills.
- Line management experience desirable.
- Consumer goods, ideally food and beverage sector experience.
