What we’re looking for: At MOJU, we are obsessed with the quality of our fresh ingredients. As we continue building closer relationships with the growers and farmers behind them, we are looking for a Responsible Sourcing Manager to help lead the next stage of that journey. This new role will own long-term partnerships with growers and exporters across developing markets, ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality ingredients while balancing commercial performance with strong ethical sourcing and sustainability standards. Based in the UK, the role includes some international travel and reports into the Supply, Operations & Impact Director.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Fresh Ingredient Sourcing
- Own relationships with growers and exporters across global sourcing regions
- Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, volumes, quality and contracts while building strong long-term partnerships
- Ensure reliable year-round supply through forecasting, planning and supplier management
- Identify and onboard new suppliers aligned to MOJU’s ethical sourcing standards
- Work closely with our co-manufacturer to review and implement ingredient pricing
- Monitor supplier performance across quality, service, cost and compliance
- Conduct supplier visits and proactively manage supply chain risks including weather, crop and logistics challenges
- Uphold responsible sourcing, traceability and supplier compliance standards
Continuous Improvement & Sustainability
- Drive improvements across sourcing efficiency, quality, waste and yield
- Identify opportunities to better support farming communities and reduce environmental impact
- Stay current on responsible sourcing best practice, legislation and certification standards
Who you are:
- Experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain, ideally within fresh produce or agriculture
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a partnership-led approach
- Experience working with international suppliers and complex supply chains
- Strong understanding of forecasting, planning and supply chain risk management
- Passionate about ethical sourcing, sustainability and responsible procurement
- Understanding of standards such as GlobalGAP and SMETA
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills across cultures
- Proactive, organised and someone who takes ownership and gets things done
- Spanish language skills are a bonus, but not essential
