Supervisor / Sales Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing inventory, and contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
• Assist in merchandising and ensuring displays are well-organised and appealing.
• Manage inventory levels, including restocking shelves and conducting stock checks.
• Handle transactions accurately while maintaining a high standard of phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance store performance.
• Demonstrate leadership skills by supervising junior staff when required, fostering a supportive team environment.
• Utilise time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced retail setting.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail management or sales management is preferred.
• Supervising experience or team management skills are advantageous for this role.
• Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly regarded.
• Administrative experience is beneficial for managing stock records and sales reports.
