What We’re Looking For
- At least 2-3 years’ general management experience in a premium, large‑scale, high‑end, fast‑paced restaurant, preferably in London
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills – a motivating and supportive presence
- Strong financial acumen and proven success in managing budgets, P&L, and cost controls
- In‑depth knowledge of food & beverage operations and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Proficiency in restaurant management systems (POS, reservations, scheduling tools)
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, solutions‑driven approach
- Calm under pressure, warm, and guest‑focused
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and profitability.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef, Head of Restaurants and Reservations Manager to ensure alignment of food and drink offerings with MOI’s vision.
- Ensure compliance with UK health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Use performance data to make informed decisions that increase revenue and reduce waste.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Financial Management
- Manage budgets and P&L statements.
- Control labour, food, and beverage costs.
- Analyse performance metrics and implement strategies to drive revenue and manage expenditure.
- Team Development
- Lead by example to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members.
- Conduct regular meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
