Position Summary

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play an important role in leading daily warehouse operations, supporting Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives to achieve operational goals safely, efficiently, and collaboratively. You will help ensure high standards of compliance, quality, and performance while fostering an inclusive environment where colleagues can develop and contribute to shared success.

What You'll Do

• Support and coordinate daily warehouse activities to achieve operational targets and key performance indicators.
• Provide guidance and support to Team Leaders and colleagues, ensuring priorities and expectations are clearly communicated across the shift.
• Help maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, employment legislation, quality processes, and company standards.
• Monitor warehouse management systems (WMS) and operational processes to ensure efficient and accurate performance.
• Promote a clean, organised, and safe working environment across freezer, chill, and dry warehouse areas.
• Work collaboratively with Quality, Operations, and other support teams to identify and resolve product, process, or operational issues.
• Encourage continuous improvement by sharing ideas, supporting development, and contributing to positive team outcomes.

Who You Are

• You have experience leading or supporting teams within a warehouse, logistics, FMCG, or similar operational environment.
• You bring strong communication and relationship-building skills and enjoy working collaboratively with others.
• You are organised, detail-oriented, and able to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• You have experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• You make balanced decisions, solve problems effectively, and support others in achieving shared goals.
• Experience within a unionised environment, conducting interviews, or working with employment law and HR processes would be beneficial but is not essential.
• You are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, inclusion, and operational excellence.
