At Martin Brower, we believe that collaboration, empathy, and innovation help create workplaces where people can thrive. We’re looking for a Warehouse Chamber Lead to join our team at Coventry and support an inclusive, safe, and efficient warehouse operation where everyone can contribute and grow.
Position Summary
As a Warehouse Chamber Lead, you will support the day‑to‑day warehouse operation, helping to ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently using voice technology and warehouse management systems. Working in a multi‑temperature environment, you will collaborate with Warehouse Supervisors and team members to maintain high standards of safety, quality, cleanliness, and operational performance while providing guidance and support to colleagues across the shift.
Why This Role?
This is an opportunity to play an important role in a collaborative warehouse team where safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are valued. You’ll help create a positive working environment by supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations. Every day offers the chance to make a meaningful difference while developing your own skills and experience.
What You’ll Do
- Support the efficient picking, packing, storage, and dispatch of customer orders while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse colleagues and supervisors to ensure daily operational activities run smoothly and effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on day‑to‑day operational queries, escalating concerns when appropriate.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and audit‑ready working environment through strong housekeeping and compliance practices.
- Contribute to stock accuracy through effective stock rotation, quality inspections, and careful handling of products.
- Participate in health and safety initiatives, team briefings, and continuous improvement activities that support operational excellence.
- Work flexibly across warehouse activities and multi‑temperature environments to support changing business needs.
Who You Are
- You have experience working within a fast‑paced warehouse, logistics, FMCG, or distribution environment, ideally within a multi‑temperature setting.
- You are committed to maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and compliance.
- You work well with others, building positive working relationships based on respect, trust, and open communication.
- You are adaptable and comfortable responding to changing priorities and operational requirements.
- You are confident using workplace technology and have a good level of computer literacy.
- You remain calm and organised in busy environments, managing tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (MHE) would be beneficial, although we welcome applicants with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Opportunities for training, development, and career progression.
- A supportive and inclusive workplace where wellbeing and collaboration are prioritised.
- Employee assistance and wellbeing programmes to support you both at work and at home.
- Recognition for individual and team contributions.
- A strong focus on health, safety, and creating a positive working environment.
- The opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues in a business that values continuous learning and improvement.
