To strengthen our dedicated team at our Hetton-le-Hole site, we are looking for a Training Manager (m/f/d). The role begins with you: empower our people with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive – from food safety and hygiene to production excellence – and make a lasting impact on the quality and culture of our site.
Your Tasks Include:
- Deliver classroom and on‐the‐job training in food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Train employees on production processes, equipment operation, cleaning, and hygiene standards.
- Manage onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
- Support cross‐training and upskilling initiatives across production teams.
- Maintain training documentation, records, and competency matrices.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, allergen management, and BRCGS standards.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Management teams to identify training needs and implement improvements.
- Provide refresher training following audits, process updates, or incidents.
What You Bring With You:
- Experience in a training or supervisory role within manufacturing or food production.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards (GMP, HACCP).
- Confident presenter with strong communication and coaching skills.
- Hands‐on, structured, and well‐organized working style.
- Ability to work with employees across different shifts and levels of experience.
- Train‐the‐Trainer or Food Safety qualification is an advantage.
