Part Time Bar Shift Leader – Newly Launched Coffee Lounge & Bar Moghhe - Liskeard, Cornwall
Are you passionate about creating exceptional hospitality experiences? Moghhe is a vibrant establishment in the heart of Liskeard seeking an enthusiastic Team Leader/Assistant Manager to join our growing business. This opportunity is not for the faint-hearted; our launch weekend was a great success and we need someone hands-on that can join our small team and make a real difference.
About Us: Moghhe (meaning "to amplify, augment, making life better" in Cornish) is a unique venue offering outstanding coffee, food, and drinks experiences. Located in West Street, Liskeard, we pride ourselves on creating memorable moments for our community through our commitment to excellence. We are more than just a coffee shop or bar, with long-term plans to turn a former nightclub into a multi-functional destination for locals and holidaymakers in Cornwall. This role will be key and offer excellent opportunities for progression as our founders focus on the longer-term strategic growth of the business.
The Role: We’re looking for a hands-on Shift Leader who will help shape the future of our business while maintaining our high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a team leader / assistant manager you will lead the day-to-day running of the business covering everything from crafting coffees & cocktails to ordering stock.
- Creating a positive environment that makes people want to visit time and again.
- Run daily operations, serving customers and ensuring the highest quality of service.
- Oversee business growth initiatives and events.
- Maintain stock control and quality standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in bar and/or coffee shop management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for hospitality and creating great experiences.
