We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Engineering Contracts Manager & Paralegal to support our legal and engineering teams across multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on Spanish-speaking regions. This hybrid role combines contract management, legal support, and regulatory compliance, acting as a key liaison between internal teams, external counsel, and clients. Contracts & Legal Document Management Draft, review, proof, and edit contracts, licenses, NDAs, and other legal documents in both English and Spanish. Assemble and prepare legal documentation for execution and filing with appropriate authorities. Translate and analyze Spanish-language contracts and legal documents for English-speaking stakeholders. Provide day-to-day legal support to internal project teams, particularly in our Spanish entity, and assist other company entities as needed. Support company lawyers in managing contract lifecycles, including negotiation, execution, and compliance tracking. Legal Liaison & Support Act as a liaison between company lawyers, external counsel, and clients to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of legal matters. Provide legal and administrative support for public procurement processes in Spanish jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Conduct legal research and compile data from trusted legal resources to support corporate lawyers and internal decision-making. Assist in analyzing legal documents and identifying potential risks or compliance issues. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Research and monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments in Spanish-speaking regions. Ensure company compliance with applicable laws, including Spanish public procurement regulations. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Law, Engineering, Business, or a related field. 5 + years of experience in contract management, paralegal work, or legal operations, preferably in an engineering or construction environment. Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken), with strong translation and interpretation skills. Solid understanding of contract law, public procurement, and regulatory compliance. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal/contract management tools (e.g., DocuSign, Ironclad, CLM platforms). Desirable Paralegal certification or legal studies qualification. Experience working with Spanish public sector contracts or international engineering projects. Familiarity with engineering project delivery models (e.g., EPC, Design & Construct).
