Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as a leader in this field. We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Legal team. The Paralegal will provide legal assistance to corporate lawyers and contractual support to internal project teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as liaison between company lawyers, outside counsel, and clients.
- Provide daily legal support for internal project teams, particularly within our Spanish entity, and support other company entities as needed.
- Assemble, proofread, and edit drafts of contracts, licenses, and legal documents.
- Prepare and file legal documents with relevant authorities.
- Review contracts and legal documents received in Spanish for English-speaking lawyers and employees.
- Advise on Spanish public procurement regulations to ensure compliance.
- Conduct research on projects as directed by corporate lawyers.
- Ensure the company's compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assist in analyzing legal documents internally.
- Compile data from trusted legal resources.

Qualifications:
- University degree in Law; a master's in Public Procurement is desirable.
- Experience in a law office or as an in-house lawyer.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English.
- Knowledge of Spanish public procurement regulations and online platforms for submitting public offers is essential.
- Proficiency with office automation software.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check in compliance with NIST 800-171.
Working Conditions: Primarily sedentary work, interacting with clients, with occasional travel.
