The predicted salary is between 36800 - 55200 £ per year.

The successful PSV Mechanic will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement on various vehicles.
  • Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
  • Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations within the workshop.
  • Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries.
  • Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair.

About you:

  • A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e., City & Guilds Level 1 & 2).
  • Ability to multi-skill within an Engineering Environment.
  • A flexible approach to working hours.
  • A PCV licence is desirable; ability to obtain a PCV licence is desirable (we will help you obtain this).
  • Experience of working with buses & coaches would be an advantage.
  • A basic electrical understanding.

The PSV Mechanic will receive a competitive hourly wage of £20.00 per hour. Overtime opportunities are available, offering added earning potential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £46,000.00 per year

Benefits: Free or subsidised travel, On-site parking

Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday, Overtime, Weekend availability

Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)
