This role provides critical support to all sales activities in relation to the Route to Market (RTM) team, from sales tracking and account management administration to below the line activities that drive sales. It is a fast moving and dynamic environment, with multiple stakeholders, providing an opportunity to experience brands in action and behind the scenes.
Commercial Development
- Partner with the Sales team on their commercial planning journey, contributing insight and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Be the first point of contact for commercial investment for orders creation and amendment.
- Support sales team deliver Tradeshows and activations.
- Own the monthly update of forecast accuracy and variance analysis via Power BI dashboards, providing clear commentary on key performance drivers.
- Support the process for NLF (new line forms) across the RTM landscape.
- Support the RTM team to manage FOC stock requests.
- Liaise between the teams' requests and Brand teams for POSM.
- Prepare ad-hoc PPT presentations for prospect meetings, key resigns.
- Challenge existing ways of working and contribute ideas to improve reporting, forecasting accuracy, and commercial visibility.
- Support senior stakeholders with insight-led recommendations.
Stock & Depletion Management
- Drive data collection, reporting and analysis.
Tools Management
- Partner with the RTM team to manage, maintain, and improve the planning and reporting toolset (Anaplan, FIP, Aspire, and Power BI), enhancing data quality, visibility, and commercial decision-making.
Projects & Exposure
- Work directly with senior commercial stakeholders across RTM, Sales, and Brand teams.
- Gain exposure to live pricing, margin, investment, and route-to-market decisions across a £55m+ portfolio.
- Support strategic projects such as account investment optimization, delivery rationalization, and new route-to-market initiatives.
Professional experience & know how
- Systems & data management experience in a commercial environment is a plus.
- P&L and value chain understanding.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to improve overall efficiency.
- Interest in the Wines & Spirits industry is a plus.
Technical skills
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS), VBA is a plus.
- Data visualization tool is a plus (Power BI, Tableau).
- MS Office (Outlook, Word, Power Point).
Personal & interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication & listening skills, team player.
- Good organizational, time management & planning skills.
- Rigorous, adaptable, autonomous, proactive.
- Like to deal with numbers & data.
- Ability to learn on the fly.
Languages
- English.
