The mission of this role is to build brand desirability and sales conversion through e‑Retail customers, on‑site and via their associated media channels. You will do this by managing the creation, distribution and evaluation of digital content and activating campaigns across our e‑Retail channels. The e‑Retail Content & Activation Manager is responsible for driving brand performance across local e‑retail platforms by ensuring consistent, high‑quality brand communication and effective e‑retail activation.
As part of the Marketing and Communications function – and embedded within the Digital, Media & CRM team – this role ensures that e‑retail execution is fully aligned with brand strategy, media investment, and consumer communication, while working closely with Sales to deliver commercial objectives. The role acts as the synergy between communication, media and e‑commerce ensuring that what shoppers see in media, CRM, and on retailer platforms tells one coherent brand story and converts into sales.
The eRetail Content & Activation Manager will work across the full portfolio of Moët Hennessy brands in the UK ranging from our champagnes and wines, including Veuve Clicquot and Whispering Angel to our spirits including Hennessy and Belvedere. We work in strong collaboration with our brand managers, sales teams and global teams to bring to life the vision and strategy in our local market.
Job Responsibilities- Activation Management: Contribute to the evolution and education of e‑retail content, activations and retail media across the organisation by sharing key learnings, insights and best practices.
- Build, own and manage the UK brand activation calendar across e‑Retail (Amazon, Quick Commerce, E‑Grocery, Department Stores…), working with brand marketing and e‑Retail colleagues, connecting and amplifying the digital brand campaigns through the line into e‑Retail channels.
- Optimise brand visibility and performance through content, media and digital trade activations (on and off site).
- Ensure brand consistency across brand stores, product titles, descriptions, images and enhanced content.
- Act as the key interface between brand, media, sales and external retail partners.
- Work closely with e‑Key Account Managers to understand their promotional plans and key trading moments to ensure relevant, on‑brand assets are provided to our e‑retailers.
- Collaborate with brand teams to ensure all assets across all relevant touchpoints are on‑brand and highlight the key marketing messages.
- Manage the relationship with external agencies and internal stakeholders to create best practice assets that meet specific retailer requirements.
- Develop and implement measurement frameworks for all e‑retail content and activation campaigns, establishing clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track success.
- Analyse campaign performance data, generate insightful reports, and provide actionable recommendations to optimise strategies, demonstrate ROI, and share learnings across MHUK and with e‑Retail colleagues globally.
- Support business reviews with content, activation, and retail media insights and reports.
- Content Management: Oversee the adoption of MH Global e‑retail kits in our local market. These standardised kits are best practice for photography and copy and help e‑retailers to increase conversion while allowing MHUK to optimise our brand presence.
- Be the local champion for our content and asset management systems (PIM & DAM).
- Leverage key reporting tools to measure, track and deliver category insights.
- Adapt the content to reflect and support available data.
- In addition, you will play an important role within the wider marketing and e‑retail communities, taking part in new pilots, driving best practice and showcasing the work of the UK teams.
As a member of the Media & Digital team, you will have a consumer and retailer mindset and be expected to work across a broad range of digital projects to support brand building and commercial initiatives.
Professional Experience & Know How:- 5+ years of experience in similar roles managing content / digital marketing / retail media for a brand or portfolio of brands.
- Understanding the role of storytelling and graphic design in creating desirable content in a super‑premium or luxury environment.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and retail media.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Highly collaborative and able to communicate with different profiles and levels across our (matrix) organisation.
- Be able to simplify messages, translate data into opportunities and actions.
- Data and technology savvy with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive and able to operate autonomously.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast‑paced environment.
