About Moeschle UK Ltd.

Moeschle UK Limited is the UK subsidiary of a leading European engineering group specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality stainless-steel vessels, including site-constructed vessels.

Our core expertise lies in engineering stainless steel tanks, pressure vessels, and agitation systems for the storage and processing of liquids.

We also are looking to offer the capability to deliver skid mounted systems.

These solutions are supplied across a wide range of industries where stainless steel provides both product compatibility and high standards of hygiene. Key sectors include food and beverage, personal care, pharmaceuticals, and chemical processing with many other sectors.

With manufacturing operations in Germany and additional production capacity in Poland, all vessels are engineered and fabricated to the highest European standards. Structural and mechanical design is carried out by our German engineering team, while our UK office provides process design and applications engineering expertise ensuring customer requirements are translated into fully integrated, engineered solutions.

The Role

Based from our offices in Sheffield this is a hands on, technically focused position with full lifecycle responsibility.

We are seeking a technically minded, customer focused professional to join our UK team. This role sits at the heart of our project development process, acting as both technical adviser and solution provider for clients across multiple industries.

It is ideal for someone with a broad skill set who enjoys variety and taking projects from initial concept through to completion.

You will interpret customer enquiries often with limited initial technical detail and translate them into clear, well‑defined designs / process concepts

Working closely with our German engineering team, you will help specify the correct vessel configuration and associated process equipment required to meet each application’s needs.

  • Develop process concepts and engineered solutions based on customer input.
  • Specify associated process equipment such as agitators, pumps, valves, pipework, and small‑scale skid‑mounted assemblies.
  • Prepare technical proposals, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate and attend Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities, mainly in Germany with occasional visits to Poland.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to agreed technical specifications, quality standards, regulatory requirements, timelines and budgets.
  • Drive continuous improvement of project delivery processes, documentation and structure.

Flexibility Required

  • Weekend or “out‑of‑hours” work to support site activities.
  • Occasional European travel for FAT and manufacturing liaison both in Germany and Poland and possible other European areas.

About You

  • Significant experience managing complex engineering projects within an engineering or manufacturing environment ideally involving stainless steel vessels, fabricated equipment, process plant, hygienic systems or similar.
  • Typically, a degree in relevant engineering discipline (mechanical / chemical / processing).
  • Proficient with design software (Autocad)
  • Technically confident with a strong technical background — mechanical, process or industrial engineering preferred.
