Our lean team offers clients an informed, impartial perspective underpinned by deep sector expertise, extensive transaction experience, and a global network of industry and financing specialists. We take a long-term, independent view of the challenges our clients face and act as their trusted partner through every stage of the transaction process.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and oversee multiple live transactions and client engagements simultaneously across the Metals & Mining sector.
- Lead teams in the preparation of financial and economic analyses, valuation models, and industry materials to support client decision-making.
- Drive the creation of transaction documents including information memoranda, management presentations, and offering materials.
- Manage and mentor junior bankers to ensure high-quality execution while fostering professional development.
- Play an active role in business development by originating and advancing strategic ideas, supporting client relationship management, and identifying new opportunities within the Metals & Mining sector.
- Engage directly with clients and senior stakeholders to present analyses, develop solutions, and contribute to the execution of complex M&A and financing transactions.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to provide timely, relevant insights to clients and internal teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Significant prior experience in investment banking, advisory, or a related financial services role.
- Exposure to Metals & Mining or broader natural resources transactions required.
- Strong technical skills with proven ability to build and oversee complex financial models, conduct valuations, and perform financial statement analysis.
- Leadership capabilities with experience managing teams and projects in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to develop long-term relationships and contribute to business growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
