The Firm serves its clients from 21 geographic locations in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.Events Specialist, EMEA – LondonMoelis & Company is seeking an Events Specialist to contribute to the planning and execution of the firm’s client events, sponsorships, internal events, and deal-related gatherings across EMEA and APAC. Based in the London office, you will work closely with an Events Assistant Vice President on end-to-end event delivery, from vendor negotiation through onsite execution, while partnering with the rest of the global events team led out of the US.You’ll collaborate closely with Corporate Services, Human Capital Management, and Marketing & Communications on a high-visibility team with direct exposure to senior bankers, clients, and employees around the globe.Key Responsibilities & Tasks:End-to-end coordination of events and sponsorships — from meetings and management presentations to closing events, sporting events, and client entertainment — ensuring each is well-executed and accurately reportedVendor sourcing and management, including restaurants, hotels, meeting rooms, and cateringInvitation development and RSVP trackingProgram specifications: room setups, AV requirements, cateringProduction of printed materials (signage, name badges, place cards)Onsite delivery for London-based events and programs, including site visitsPost-event tasks including budget reconciliation and logging feedbackRegional event budget management and reporting for EMEA and APACPartner with Corporate Services on internal special events and pop-upsCoordinate with Corporate Communications on internal and external event marketingWork with Human Capital Management on internal and recruitment eventsLondon-based Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, including generating new project ideasManage team administrative work including monthly budget reconciliationQualifications:2–3 years of experience in events and/or administration, ideally in financial or professional servicesStrong proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF; experience with Cvent or a comparable events platform is a plusHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple events and budgets simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSound judgment and discretion handling sensitive and confidential informationA proactive, self-starter approachFlexibility to work outside typical office hours as needed to support eventsWe are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to promoting diversity, preventing discrimination and providing a supportive and inclusive working environment.
