Due to continued growth and contract awards we are looking for Rig Surveyors β Mechanical on a contract basis.
Track record & criteria:
- Personnel having attained status of Chief Engineer and/or member of a Professional Body.
- Track record in a senior role with a drilling contractor as part of the maintenance crew covering drilling equipment, marine systems, hydraulic systems, main machinery, hoisting/lifting, mud processing systems, surface well control and other rig floor equipment.
- Conversant with maintenance management systems, including condition-based monitoring.
- Track record of different drilling rig types, including design, generation, manufacturer.
- Up-to-date with industry codes and standards.
- Track record of management/maintenance role with a drilling contractor, including Technical Superintendent, Technical Section Leader, Maintenance Superintendent or similar.
- Have cross-discipline experience including: Hydraulics systems, Marine & barge equipment, Surface well control equipment.
- Track record working with an original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
