The Opportunity
We’re looking for a capable and ambitious individual to join our London team as a Commercial Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone currently working in a commercial role who’s ready to step up and take on more responsibility.
You’ll be supported by an experienced team while gaining exposure to the full commercial lifecycle — from early-stage cost planning and procurement through to delivery and final account. What You’ll Be Doing
- Contract Management
- Lead all commercial aspects of our design & build projects
- Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and mitigate commercial risks
- Cost Management
- Implement cost control measures and monitor project expenditure
- Maintain clear oversight of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
- Provide regular and accurate commercial reporting to senior leadership
- Risk Management
- Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks
- Proactively address issues and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Support teams to resolve challenges efficiently and professionally
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the key commercial point of contact for clients
- Maintain strong relationships and ensure clear, open communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage expectations and contribute to client satisfaction
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Project Managers, Designers and the wider Delivery team
- Offer commercial guidance and help resolve disputes where needed
- Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-focused team environment
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance
- Keep up to date with relevant construction legislation and industry standards
- Ensure that all commercial activities remain compliant and professionally executed
About You
- Proven experience within the Design & Build or wider commercial fit-out sector
- Proven experience working as a Commercial Manager (ideally 5+ years)
- Experience of running your own projects with a certain level of autonomy
- Strong contractual knowledge
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Ambitious and proactive, with a desire to take ownership and grow in the role
