We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Chartered Independent Financial Advisory firm based in Chester. Our client provides high-quality financial guidance and ongoing support to help individuals and families achieve their long-term financial goals. They are now looking to appoint a Financial Administrator to support advisers and clients across a broad range of financial services.
As a Finance Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business by providing efficient administrative and client service support.
The Job:
- New business processing across investments, pensions, mortgages and protection
- Client servicing activities such as fund switches, portfolio rebalancing and withdrawals
- Handling policy and provider enquiries
- Telephone and reception duties as required
- General administrative support, including:
- Call handling
- Post management
- Typing and document preparation
- Meeting and greeting clients
The Candidate:
- To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience working within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) practice
- A highly organised and methodical approach to work
- Excellent attention to detail with high standards of accuracy
- The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience using the Intelliflo (IO) back-office system (advantageous)
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms:
- Abrdn
- Aviva
- Aegon
