Are you looking to start or accelerate your career in railway planning? Modus Rail is a fast-growing, dynamic rail company and we’re looking for a Junior Railway Planner to join our expanding team. This role is perfect for someone either early in their planning career or with a basic understanding of the railway who wants to develop, take ownership, and excel in a supportive and high-performing environment.
What you’ll learn & do:
- With full training and mentoring, you’ll progress towards:
- Safe Work Planning competency
- Personal Track Safety competency
- Identifying asset types, locations, and access requirements
- Identifying and linking works into possessions
- Creating and managing worksites
- Representing planning activities at key meetings
- Taking full ownership and accountability of planning workstreams
Who we’re looking for:
- Ambitious, motivated, and keen to learn
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
- Either new to planning or looking to take the next step
