We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sports Masseuse / Sports Therapist to join our friendly team! Hours available are Saturdays 9:00 - 3:00 (or longer if you wish), Wednesday evening (5:00 - 8:00), and Friday evenings if so desired. Appointments are mostly sports massage sessions, with some sports therapy treatment as well.
Modus Physio is currently looking for a Sports Masseuse / Therapist to work within the team, completing mainly sports massage sessions, but also assisting in the rehabilitation of students and members of the public within a gym setting, carrying out performance testing, sports therapy treatment sessions. It requires a motivated, ambitious therapist with a solid MSK knowledge and a desire to advance their expertise.
Modus Physiotherapy is a well-established private clinic based in the Wellington College Health & Fitness Club, Crowthorne, Berkshire. We are responsible for supplying sports injury management for Wellington College pupils, alongside running busy treatment clinics for members of the public. As a result of these roles, we can provide a varied and challenging case load, including sports injuries, concussion management, post-op rehabilitation.
Continued professional development is an essential aspect to our clinical approach. As such, training and ongoing learning opportunities will be provided.
Requirements of role:- Level 4 Certificate or higher in Sports Massage
- Or BSc Sports Therapy
- Must have recognition with medical governing body and own indemnity insurance
- Competent in the treatment of a variety of clinical presentations within MSK specialty
- Competent in rehabilitation of sports injuries and post-op patients
- Competent in designing and delivering fitness and injury prevention programs
- Able to work independently and self-regulate
- May be offered to assist in pitch-side cover for sporting events (relevant training will be supplied)
- Part time, self-employed --> you will get a commission rate for the patients that you treat and roles you undertake.
- Clinic Hours offered are Saturdays 9:00 - 3:00 (or longer if you wish), Wednesday evenings (5:00 - 8:00), and Friday evenings if so desired.
- May be offered to go on sports tours abroad for sports therapy cover, once fully trained. e.g. Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. (paid daily rate, with all expenses paid).
- Must have own car for transport
