We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join our clients team in the West Yorkshire area! Our client is a well established, respected and expanding Mechanical and Electrical contractor in the commercial plumbing, heating and electrical sector looking to expand its Mechanical team due to continued success. We are pleased to be able to offer this role on a permanent basis. Therefore if successful, you'll be employed directly by our client on a full time, permanent contract.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll be responsible for the management of Mechanical projects involving plant rooms, plumbing systems and HVAC systems.
  • Managing contracts from set up, through to completion.
  • Liaising with design and build departments.
  • Managing on-site staff consisting of engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring contracts are delivered on time, to the required standard and that the client is kept up-to-date.
  • Attend sites and client meetings to work on issues / provide updates / reports.
  • Ensure each contract stays in line with H&S and compliance, abiding by industry standards.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM. Hours can be made flexible for the right candidate. The role is mostly office based but travel to sites is required.
