We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join our clients team based in the Manchester area! Our client is a well established, successful and expanding electrical contracting firm looking to expand their estimations team. If you are looking to grow within a company that can offer clear career progression and development then this is the role for you. We are pleased to be able to offer this role on a permanent basis. If successful, you'll be employed directly by our client on a permanent contract.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll be part of our clients estimations team, predominately office based with occasional visits to customer sites if required.
- Preparing and submitting quotes based on customers' electrical installation requirements.
- Preparing and submitting tenders/bids for works to be completed.
- Visiting customers' sites to gain an understanding of electrical works required to better assist with the creation of a quotation.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
- Market research around the best products/systems on offer.
- Suggesting systems, parts and products that would be best suited to the clients' requirements.
- Assisting projects with the costing elements of contracts/projects undertaken by the company.
The ideal candidate will be someone with at least 3-5 years experience as an Electrical Estimator within the commercial electrical installations industry.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM. 1hr lunch break. No weekend working.
Pay: £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience. + Bonus scheme.
