We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plant Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing site based in Telford!
Youll carry out repairs and maintenance across mobile plant, site infrastructure, and mechanical equipment, as well as provide welding and fabrication services. You will also actively participate in improvement projects to enhance plant reliability, maximise efficiency, and maintain the highest safety standards.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!
What youll be doing:
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across mobile plant, mechanical equipment, and site infrastructure
- Carry out welding and fabrication to support plant operations
- Maintain and improve equipment to maximise performance and minimise downtime
- Complete risk assessments and uphold safe working practices
- Monitor equipment faults and provide updates to management
- Support engineering projects, new installations, and refurbishments
- Update and manage the CMMS system, ensuring all inspections and tasks are logged
- Contribute to problem-solving workshops and daily operational review meetings
Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, rotating Days/Nights (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am)
Pay: £44,000 per annum
Skills/Experience Required:
- Experienced and qualified engineer with a mechanical bias, welding, and fabrication skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices
- High attention to detail and excellent standards of work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Computer literate and familiar with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office
- Driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
