We’re looking for a Technical / Proposals Engineer to join our clients Industrial Systems team based near Keele! You’ll work closely with clients across construction, industrial, and consultancy sectors to provide fit-for-purpose and cost-effective technical solutions. This is not a commission-based sales role; your focus will be on proposals, tender preparation, and technical problem solving. This role is ideal for someone with experience in technical sales, industrial engineering, or engineering support. A construction or groundworks background could be beneficial, but not essential. Strong analytical, maths, and communication skills are key.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assess client requirements and provide technical recommendations
  • Advise customers on pricing, product availability, and delivery schedules
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documentation with accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Apply strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical interpretation skills
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and architects

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (flexible) *Option to work hours over 4 days*

Pay: £27,500 - £30,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) + Yearly Bonuses!

Skills/Experience Required:

  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Experience in technical sales, industrial systems, or engineering support preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical interpretation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and computer literate
  • Ability to quickly learn and interpret product specifications
