We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established, family-run business near Stafford! The site is entering an exciting growth phase, with investment in new equipment and plans to expand the engineering team offering long-term stability and progression opportunities. You will work hands-on with a variety of machinery on a modern production site, helping keep essential systems running smoothly. This role suits someone electrically biased, with an 18th Edition qualification and experience in production, manufacturing, or industrial environments. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What you will be doing:

  • Planned and reactive maintenance
  • Work as part of a team doing a mix of both Electrical and Mechanical repairs
  • Maintenance of Filling Machines, Wrapping Machines, Inverters, Labelling Machines, Robotics, Pneumatic Systems, Conveyors, Motors, PLCs, Gearboxes, Valves, Pumps etc.
  • Aim to maximise performance and reduce production downtime
  • Monitor any malfunctioning equipment and report to site management
  • Facilities maintenance
  • Ensure the site is operating safely at all times

Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern working 8am-8pm

Pay: £38,000 per annum + overtime - OTE of up to £50,000

Skills/Experience Required:

  • At least 12 months electrical engineering experience
  • Experience from a production/manufacturing/industrial environment preferred
  • 18th edition is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • An understanding of Health & Safety
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
