We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner to join one of our prestigious clients based in Stoke-on-Trent! This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, family-run precision engineering business known for its high standards and quality workmanship. Operating from a clean, modern facility with new machinery, the company offers a relaxed and supportive working environment.
You will be responsible for setting and operating 2-axis lathes with Fanuc controls to produce precision components to specification. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position offering long-term stability and excellent working conditions.
What you will be doing:
- Set and operate 2-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
- Interpret detailed engineering drawings to produce precision components
- Manufacture small batches of intricate, high-quality parts
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks using measuring equipment
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and company procedures
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm & Friday 8am-3:30pm
Pay: Approx Β£35,000 per annum (Depending on Experience). Overtime available and paid at time.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years experience in CNC turning / lathe operation
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Confident using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Clear communication skills
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
