We are looking for a proactive Product Support Engineer who loves solving technical challenges and helping customers find the right solutions to join our client's growing team near Keele! You will handle inbound enquiries from customers, contractors, and suppliers, preparing quotations, providing technical advice, and ensuring customer requirements are fully understood and met. You will build strong relationships, helping customers find the right solution from a wide range of technical products. This role is ideal for someone with a practical or engineering mindset whether from previous technical or industrial experience, or hands-on hobbies like working on machinery, mechanical projects, or DIY engineering tasks. This Full-Time, Permanent position offers excellent career progression opportunities!
What you will be doing:
- Manage inbound technical enquiries and service requests
- Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and presentations
- Advise customers on technical requirements, product specifications, and delivery schedules
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success
- Support internal service teams where needed
Hours: Flexible day shifts (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday). Option to work either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm. Flexi time option - can work 8am-6pm and claim time back in lieu for extra days off.
Pay: Β£26,000 per annum. Yearly Bonuses (approx. Β£1300)!
Skills/Experience Required:
- A valid UK driving licence
- Practical or technical mindset (understands how things work or are built)
- Ability to quickly learn and interpret technical specifications
- Strong attention to detail and customer-focused approach
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM systems)
