We are looking for a motivated Mechanical CAD Technician to join our client's team based near Keele! You will take quoted designs and turn them into technical drawing packs, submitting them for approval, and managing amendments through to final sign-off. You will also provide first-line technical support to site engineers and prepare documentation, including O&M manuals. This opportunity would suit someone with experience generating 2D AutoCAD mechanical drawings, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.

What you will be doing:- Produce accurate 2D AutoCAD mechanical drawings for a variety of projects
- Take quoted designs through the approval process, managing amendments as required
- Provide technical support to site engineers and respond to queries
- Prepare and maintain O&M manuals and other project documentation
- Feedback commercial trends and market requirements to the team
- Liaise with colleagues, managers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
- Be flexible to meet the requirements of the business
Flexible Working Hours (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday)
- Choose your start time between 8:00am-9:30am
- Early finish every Friday (no later than 5:00pm)
- Flexi-time scheme: build up hours and take additional time off
- No weekends
£29,850 - £35,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) + Yearly Bonuses (approx. £1300)!
Skills/Experience Required:- A valid UK driving licence is essential
- Proven experience generating 2D AutoCAD mechanical drawings
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
- Strong organisational and methodical approach
- Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications
- Confident in supporting technical queries from site engineers
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements advantageous
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office suite)
