Job Description
We are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a growing production facility in Nottingham!
This is a hands-on role working across mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting production targets. Youll be part of a skilled engineering team, helping maintain, repair, and improve equipment across the site.
This role requires a qualified Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to carry out both preventative and reactive maintenance, supporting the efficiency and reliability of the production facility.
This is aFull-Time, Permanentposition!
What youll be doing
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Work as part of a team doing a mix of both mechanical and electrical repairs
- Ensure all equipment is safe, operational, and correctly documented
- Respond to breakdowns and support major repairs
- Work with contractors and maintain spare parts records
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and contribute to risk assessments
- Support continuous improvement and day-to-day operational efficiency
Hours
Monday-Friday, 7:30am-16:30pm
Pay
£40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Skills/Experience Required
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (food manufacturing preferred)
- Working knowledge of PLCs and electrical control systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
