Job Description
Were recruiting a skilled Mechanical Workshop Engineer (Motors & Pumps) to join a market-leading engineering firm with over 60 years of experience delivering high-performance water and wastewater solutions, based near Keele!
Youll be based in a fully equipped workshop and work closely with a team of skilled engineers, servicing, repairing, and assembling motors, pumps, and associated mechanical equipment.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!
What youll be doing
- Inspect, service and assemble pumps and motors
- Diagnose and repair faults, including motor rewinds
- Complete and maintain service records
- Perform equipment performance tests
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers
- Support teammates with technical issues
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workshop
- Manage your own workload to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Follow and improve internal procedures
Hours
Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
*Option to work hours over 4 days*
Pay
Approx £30,000 (depending on experience)
Skills/Experience Required
- Hands-on experience repairing, rewinding, or refurbishing motors or pumps (essential)
- Strong mechanical skills (stripping, rebuilding, diagnosing faults)
- Background in motor rewind or similar environments highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
