Job Description
Were looking for an experiencedMechanical Pump Engineer (Field Based)to join our esteemed, market leading client, specialising in pumping equipment solutions, boasting over sixty years of industry expertise around theBristol area!
You\’ll work closely alongside a skilled Electrical Engineer to respond to breakdowns, perform servicing, and handle installation and commissioning of a wide range of pumping systems.
This role is ideal for someone mechanically biased with hands-on experience in pumps, valves, pipework, water treatment, drainage, or utilities.
This is aFull-Time, Permanentposition!
Responsibilities
- Mechanical servicing, installations, and commissioning on a variety of pumping equipment including Pumps, Valves, Pipework, Pumping Stations, Pump Kiosks etc
- Maintenance and monitoring of equipment
- Optimise equipment through troubleshooting and repairs
- Respond to service requests and breakdowns
- Log work progress in detailed site reports
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and act as a positive company representative
- Drive the company van and maintain with necessary tools and supplies needed
Hours
Monday-Friday, Day Shifts, 40 hours per week (flexibility required)
Pay
£35,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Overtime paid at time 1/3 & time 1/2
Skills/Experience Required
Essential
- Hands-on experience with Pumps, Valves, Pipework or similar
- A valid UK driving licence
Preferred
- Mechanical engineering qualifications
- A background in Utility Maintenance, Water Treatment, Drainage etc
- CSCS, First Aid or Confined space training
