We are seeking an experienced Mechanical CAD Designer to join one of our prestigious clients based near Keele! Our client is a leading UK engineering company known for its innovation, support, and commitment to employee development. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create precise technical drawings using 2D AutoCAD for a range of engineering projects
  • Compile detailed parts lists ensuring seamless material sourcing
  • Assist with preparing quotations, providing valuable insights based on market trends and customer requirements
  • Maintain strong client relationships, addressing needs and providing effective solutions
  • Ensure all projects adhere to product specifications and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in engineering processes

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (flexible)

Pay: Up to £27,500 per annum (depending on experience)

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and a solid understanding of technical drawing and mechanical design
  • Mechanical engineering background
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Must have a valid UK driving licence
  • Competent in using Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant software
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
