Electrical Estimator in Manchester

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join our clients team based in the Manchester area! Our client is a well established, successful and expanding electrical contracting firm looking to expand their estimations team. We are pleased to be able to offer this role on a permanent basis. If successful, you\’ll be employed directly by our client on a permanent contract. What you\’ll be doing: You\’ll be part of our clients estimations team, predominately office based with the occasional visits to customer sites if required . The role will involve : Preparing and submitting quotes based on customers electrical installation requirements Preparing and submitting tenders / bids for works to be completed Visiting customers sites to gain an understanding of electrical works required to better assist with the creation of a quotation Reading and interpreting electrical drawings Market research around the best products / systems on offer Suggesting systems, parts and products that would be best suited to the clients requirements Assisting projects with the costing elements of contracts / projects undertaken by the company The ideal candidate will be someone with at least 3-5 years experience as an Electrical Estimator with the commercial electrical installations industry. Hours: Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM. 1hr lunch break. No weekend working. Pay: £40,000 – £55,000 depending on experience. Bonus scheme.
