We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) to join a well-established manufacturing site in Chichester! You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of production equipment. You will play a key part in keeping the factory running efficiently, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring all machinery operates safely and reliably. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position with opportunities for training and career development.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults across pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Support machinery installations, upgrades, and commissioning projects
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and downtime is minimised
- Maintain accurate service records and report maintenance activities
- Work collaboratively within a small engineering team to deliver efficient plant support
- Contribute to continuous improvement and process reliability initiatives
Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:30am-8:00pm
Pay: £43,000 per annum
Skills / Experience Required:
- Minimum 12 months maintenance experience within a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment
- Electrical or mechanical qualifications preferred
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
