We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) to join a well-established manufacturing site in Chichester! You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of production equipment. You will play a key part in keeping the factory running efficiently, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring all machinery operates safely and reliably. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position with opportunities for training and career development.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults across pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Support machinery installations, upgrades, and commissioning projects
  • Ensure all equipment operates safely and downtime is minimised
  • Maintain accurate service records and report maintenance activities
  • Work collaboratively within a small engineering team to deliver efficient plant support
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and process reliability initiatives

Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:30am-8:00pm

Pay: £43,000 per annum

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Minimum 12 months maintenance experience within a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment
  • Electrical or mechanical qualifications preferred
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
