Are you a driven Quantity Surveyor looking to work on some of London's most prestigious residential and commercial construction and refurbishment projects? Based in Harrow, London, our client is a respected principal contractor with a single, unwavering aim: to build to perfection. For over 30 years, they have built an outstanding reputation delivering exceptional quality across high-end residential and commercial schemes throughout London. Craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail are at the core of everything they do.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team.
The RoleYou will take ownership of the commercial and contractual management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors, you will ensure projects are delivered profitably while upholding the company’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
- Managing subcontractor procurement and negotiations
- Monitoring project costs, variations, and cash flow
- Producing valuations and managing final accounts
- Financial reporting across multiple projects
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within high-end residential and/or commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial processes
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and commercially astute
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience)
- Office base in Harrow, London, with projects across the capital
