We currently have an opportunity for a Gas Engineer to join our clients team based in the Wakefield area! Our client is a well-established, long standing and respected firm looking to expand their team.

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll be responsible for repairing, servicing and maintaining gas appliances in and around the West Yorkshire area and issuing the relevant certifications when work has been completed as well as attending breakdowns as and when required.
  • You'll need to have great customer service skills and an excellent standard of work to ensure each job is finished to the best standard.

You'll have the benefits of being part of a small friendly team, all of whom chip in to get the work done with management stepping in and assisting the team during busy periods.

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours may differ and earlier starts with later finishes may be possible for the right candidate that require flexibility.

Pay: £40,000 - £45,000 per year, depending on experience.

Experience required:

  • At least 3 years experience as a Gas Engineer
  • CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, MET1 and HTR1 qualifications
  • Full UK driving license
  • Previous breakdown, repair, maintenance and servicing experience
