We are looking for multiple experienced Electrical Pump Engineers to join our esteemed, market leading client, specialising in pumping equipment solutions, boasting over sixty years of industry expertise around the Stoke-on-Trent area!
In this role, you'll partner with a skilled Mechanical Engineer and work as a duo to swiftly address breakdowns and deliver top-notch electrical servicing, installation, and commissioning of diverse pumping equipment. This role is suitable for someone electrically biased with an 18th Edition qualification, ideally with a background in pumping equipment, valves, pipe work, drainage, utilities, water treatment etc. Flexibility is essential, as occasional overnight stays may be required (although these are very limited). These are Full-Time, Permanent positions!
What you'll be doing:
- Electrical servicing, installations, and commissioning on a variety of pumping equipment including Pumps, Pumping Stations, Pump Kiosks, Control Systems, Monitoring Systems etc
- Maintenance and monitoring of equipment
- Optimise equipment through troubleshooting and repairs
- Respond to service requests and breakdowns
- Flexibility for overnight stays as needed
- Log work progress in detailed site reports
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and act as a positive company representative
- Drive the company van and maintain with necessary tools and supplies needed
- Manage petty cash and process payments efficiently
Hours: Monday-Friday, Day Shifts, 40 hours per week (flexibility required)
Pay: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience). Overtime paid at time 1/3 & time 1/2
Skills/Experience Required:
Essential:
- Previous experience with pumping equipment such as Pumps, Control Systems, Monitoring Systems or similar
- An 18th edition qualification
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
- A valid UK driving licence
- Flexible to stay away from home if required
Preferred:
- A background in Utility Maintenance, Water Treatment, Drainage etc
- CSCS, First Aid or Confined space training
