Job Description

Were recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Team Leader for one of our prestigious clients based in Telford!

Youll join a modern, high-performance manufacturing site, ideal for someone with strong electrical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and a background in industrial maintenance especially within fast-paced environments such as automotive, castings, or other high-volume manufacturing.

You\’ll lead a team of skilled engineers, ensuring safety, performance, and technical delivery are maintained to a high standard across shifts. This is a hands-on leadership role involving maintenance planning, fault diagnosis, and driving continuous improvement.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What youll be doing

Lead a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers across rotating shifts Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team performance Conduct start-of-shift briefs and communicate technical issues clearly Perform hands-on planned and reactive maintenance Diagnose and repair faults using electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics Maintaining equipment including die casting machines, robotics, presses, CNCs, Siemens PLCs, and conveyors Ensure 5S and health & safety standards are consistently met Support with machinery upgrades, installations, and improvements Prepare maintenance reports and communicate key findings to site management Maximise machinery uptime and reduce production downtime Drive continuous improvement and support engineering process development

Hours

Week 1: Mon-Fri6:00am-14:00pm

Week 2: Mon-Fri 14:00pm-22:00pm

Week 3: Mon-Fri 22:00pm-6:00am

Pay

£45,000 – £54,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Skills/Experience Required

Minimum 3 years\’ experience in electrical maintenance, with previous team leadership or supervisory responsibility Qualified in electrical or mechanical disciplines (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, 18th Edition) Proven ability to lead, delegate, and develop technical staff Skilled in fault-finding across electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong understanding of health & safety practices (accreditation desirable) 5S experience Full UK Driving Licence
