We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing site based in Telford!

Youll work in a highly successful engineering team, liaising closely with Shift Coordinators and Production Team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. You will deliver planned maintenance inspections, perform corrective and reactive repairs, and support improvement projects to keep the site operating at peak efficiency.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What youll be doing

  • Carry out PPM (planned preventive maintenance) and respond to breakdowns/reactive maintenance
  • Complete condition reports and dynamic risk assessments
  • Maintain plant equipment including conveyors, granulators, high-speed sorting machines, pneumatic cylinders, motors, PLCs, and other electrical systems
  • Maximise equipment performance and reduce production downtime
  • Monitor malfunctioning equipment and keep management informed
  • Support engineering project work, installations, and refurbishments
  • Log daily progress in the CMMS system
  • Participate in problem-solving workshops
  • Provide updates on compliance, live defects, and ongoing improvement plans

Hours

4 on 4 off shift pattern, rotating Days/Nights (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am)

Pay

£44,000 per annum

Skills/Experience Required

  • At least 12 months electrical engineering experience
  • Experience from a production/ manufacturing/ industrial environment preferred
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent
  • Strong three-phase electrical experience
  • Health & Safety knowledge and adherence to safe systems of work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads
