We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team based in the Congleton area! 4 DAY WORKING WEEK!
Our client is a well-established and successful production company, looking to expand its maintenance team. We are pleased to be able to offer this role on a full-time, permanent basis. Therefore, if successful you will be employed directly by our client on a permanent contract.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be part of our client's maintenance team, responsible for the mechanical maintenance and repair (as and when required) side of production machinery and plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in both reactive and planned maintenance on production machinery and will have worked with PLCs, pneumatics, mechanical drives and diaphragm pumps before. You’ll work alongside an existing team of electrical and mechanical engineers, all working to keep the operation moving forward, in line with the relevant legislation whilst ensuring health and safety is adhered to at all times.
Hours: 4 day working week! You’ll be required to work 4 out of the 5 days within the working week of Monday - Friday. Hours can be either 6AM - 4PM or 8AM - 6PM. 40 hours per week.
Pay: £43,700.00 per year + a ton of perks!
Experience required:
- At least 3-5 years mechanical maintenance experience within a production setting
- HNC or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
