Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in manufacturing? Modus Careers is working on behalf of a specialist design and manufacturing company based in Newmarket, looking to add a confident, proactive Project Manager to their team. This is a full-time, office-based role working alongside experienced colleagues in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

The Role:

  • You’ll be managing a range of complex manufacturing projects from the development or receipt of drawings through to procurement, production coordination and final delivery.
  • The role involves working with internal teams, including design, development and production, while maintaining clear and timely communication with clients throughout each stage.
  • This position is focused on ensuring technical and creative outputs are delivered accurately, on time, and on budget across a variety of bespoke and scalable projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • End-to-end management of multiple manufacturing projects simultaneously
  • Coordinating daily with internal teams across design, development, and production
  • Liaising with clients to manage timelines, expectations, and technical input
  • Procuring materials and overseeing sheet material usage and stock
  • Supporting product development and creative/technical refinement
  • Occasional international travel to support client relationships or installations

  • Experience with multi-material projects (joinery, plastics, metalwork) is highly desirable
