A prestigious and high-growth luxury brand based in Mayfair, London, is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Operations to drive operational efficiency and excellence across all functions. This is a unique opportunity for a proactive leader with a strong operational and technological background to play a pivotal role in the company\’s continued expansion, particularly into new markets like the US and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
- Drive operational strategy and ensure alignment with the company’s overarching business goals.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient processes across all departments.
- Support new store openings, ensuring processes and standards are upheld.
Logistics Oversight:
- Manage international logistics, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective operations.
- Develop best practices for logistics across all markets.
Inventory Control:
- Implement effective inventory management strategies aimed at achieving zero stock loss.
Technology Management:
- Develop a 5-year IT Roadmap aligned with the Business Plan.
- Oversee ERP system management to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and seamless integration with new technologies.
- Lead the introduction of a new clienteling system, manage IT infrastructure, and ensure cyber security and disaster recovery readiness.
Facilities Management:
- Oversee all facility operations, including maintenance, safety, and compliance.
Security:
- Manage the security team across multiple sites and lead initiatives to raise security awareness through training.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Process Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Performance Management:
- Establish performance metrics and monitor operations to ensure targets are met, implementing solutions where needed.
Team Development:
- Mentor and develop operational staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Budget Management:
- Oversee budget development and management, driving cost-saving initiatives across operations.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work closely with finance, retail, HR, and other departments to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in manufacturing and knowledge of luxury, retail, or jewellery sectors (preferred).
- Proven ability to drive operational excellence and achieve strategic goals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Experience with market expansion initiatives, especially in the US and Middle East.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Business Central or a similar ERP system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Luxury Jewellery or high luxury environments
