We are seeking a candidate who is available to start ASAP. We are partnering with a UK-based luxury brand seeking an experienced and commercially minded Merchandising Manager to support its global merchandising function. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to product strategy within a design-led environment, helping to balance creative direction with commercial performance across multiple channels.

The Role

As Merchandising Manager, you will support the execution of the global merchandising strategy, ensuring a balanced, commercially effective product assortment aligned with the brand's identity and seasonal direction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate performance insights into actionable merchandising decisions that support both product and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assortment & Product Management
    • Support the development and execution of seasonal assortment plans across key categories
    • Work with design and product teams to provide feedback based on sales performance and customer insights
    • Monitor product performance and support lifecycle management from launch through to end-of-life
    • Assist in maintaining consistent pricing architecture across categories
  • Inventory & Allocation
    • Support stock management across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels
    • Assist with replenishment planning and allocation decisions based on trading performance
    • Work with operations teams to ensure product availability and flow
    • Help maintain accurate reporting on stock levels and sell-through performance
  • Sales & Performance Analysis
    • Produce regular performance reports (weekly, monthly, seasonal)
    • Identify key trends and highlight opportunities or risks across categories
    • Support forecasting and trading analysis in collaboration with Finance
    • Assist Retail and Marketing teams with product performance insights
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Buying, Design, Retail, and Operations teams to ensure alignment
    • Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day merchandising queries
    • Support the implementation of merchandising strategies across channels
    • Ensure consistency in product storytelling and execution

Profile

  • 4–6 years' experience in merchandising within a luxury or premium environment
  • Strong understanding of assortment planning, retail trading, and inventory fundamentals
  • Highly analytical with strong Excel and reporting skills
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and commercially aware
  • Experience with merchandising or ERP systems is highly desirable
