Assistant Boutique Manager – Knightsbridge

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Boutique Manager to join our dynamic retail team in Knightsbridge . This is a pivotal role supporting the General Manager in leading boutique operations, motivating a high-performing team, and delivering an exceptional luxury client experience.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in fragrance, beauty, or luxury retail , and who thrives in the unique culture of a family-run business .

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Support the General Manager in the daily operations of the boutique, ensuring excellence across all areas.
  • Inspire and motivate the team to exceed sales targets while delivering high standards of service.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive environment that encourages professional growth.

Client Experience

  • Ensure every client receives exceptional, personalized service that reflects luxury retail expectations.
  • Address client concerns professionally and discreetly to maintain high satisfaction.
  • Support clienteling initiatives to build long-term client relationships.

Boutique Operations

  • Oversee opening and closing procedures and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation to luxury standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, conduct product quality checks, and ensure POS accuracy.
  • Ensure grooming and presentation standards are maintained across the team.
  • Supervise product packaging and uphold best-in-class presentation standards.

Training & Development

  • Assist in onboarding and training new hires, with a focus on product knowledge and service excellence.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to ensure continuous team development and engagement.

CRM & Clienteling Support

  • Oversee accurate client data entry and the completion of CRM tasks such as follow-ups and account management.
  • Monitor team usage of CRM tools in line with company procedures.

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure hygiene and cleanliness protocols are upheld in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor staff compliance with all health and safety procedures.

Brand Representation

  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying company values, behaviours, and grooming standards.
  • Uphold boutique maintenance and report any operational issues promptly.

Communication & Reporting

  • Provide daily updates to the General Manager on boutique activity, team performance, and client feedback.
  • Clearly communicate goals and expectations to the team to drive results and maintain standards.

Sales Responsibilities

  • As an active member of the sales floor, the Assistant Manager is expected to support clients directly, maintain boutique excellence, and contribute to team sales targets.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in luxury retail , ideally in fragrance or beauty .
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and responsibility.
  • Familiarity with boutique operations, CRM systems, and stock management.
